We launched the ATP Awards in 1984 to enhance the social role of production companies and honor the passion and energy of each and every production staff member. These are the only Japanese television awards in which the year's most outstanding programs are chosen by a jury of program creators--production company producers and directors. We call for submissions in the genres of drama, documentary, and variety, and each year receive over 100 entries. In addition to the Grand Prize, awards for excellence and outstanding achievement are presented.
